Frisco is the fastest growing city in North Texas and the second fastest growing city in the United States with population of 116,989 (2010), compared to 33,714 in 2000. Frisco also has numerous hike and bike trails and both public and private golf courses. The Warren Sports complex offers an 8-acre lake that is regularly stocked with black bass and channel catfish. Frisco has the advantage of being located in the middle of the “Golden Corridor”. The town is adjacent to Legacy Business Park, the corporate home of HP, JC Penny, and Frito Lay. Frisco offers residents a variety of quality housing possibilities in developments such as the Country Club. There are two major golf courses and a full state of athletic leagues, including basketball, volley ball, and swimming. Lake Lewisville is just minutes away, and Lake Ray Roberts is only 30 min away. Students score above average on state SAT examinations.
